As we approach the end of 2014 we take time to look back and remember:
We recall the warm celebration at our Christmas Eve service on December 24th. It was a fitting climax to our month of Advent Sundays as we celebrated the reality of the 'Word made Flesh' expressed through multiple languages and cultures. Thank you to all of you who participated! At the end of the service, 21 countries were represented - Jesus has come to be the Savior of ALL NATIONS!
We are filled with joy as we recall our final Sunday of Advent when we welcomed the Kiev Symphony Orchestra and Chorus to a Special Musical Christmas Service. We are so thankful for their willingness to come and bless us with the highest quality music as we celebrated the Wonder of Advent as represented by the Gospel of John.
We look back further into the year of 2014 and we may observe good times, hard times, happy times and sad times. In the midst of all of those experiences it is my prayer that we may see God's faithfulness.
Next Sunday - December 28th - we will be back in our usual place of worship (529 Jibek Jolu Street). We will have a Family Service together as we celebrate God's Love and Faithfulness over the past year and look forward with eager anticipation toward 2015. See you there at 10am!!
